The Niagara Celtic Festival in Olcott this weekend will feature the third annual 5K race to benefit the Newfane Women’s Lacrosse Club, which plays club teams and private school teams across the region and beyond.
The race starts at 11 a.m. Sunday in Krull Park, along East Lake Road (Route 18). Registration runs $30 from 9 to 10:45 a.m. beforehand and the cost includes two day passes to the festival and two beverage tickets.
Live music, workshops, demonstrations, Celtic College classes, rugby games and the Highland Games are part of the festival fun from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information, visit niagaraceltic.com.
