The Buffalo Bills have reportedly addressed their depth along the offensive line by claiming center Gabe Ikard off waivers from the Tennessee Titans.
The move has not officially been announced by the Bills or NFL yet, but the website Pro Football Talk published a complete list of waiver claims Sunday afternoon. Ikard's agent, Ken Sarnoff, also announced the signing on his Twitter page.
Ikard, 24, is a 6-foot-4, 304-pounder who spent all of last season on the Titans' injured reserve after tearing an ACL at the end of the preseason. Ikard played collegiately at Oklahoma. While with the Sooners, he also played some left guard, starting 48 of 50 career games. Ikard was credited with 82 knockdown blocks and was not charged with allowing a sack during his college career. He was also named the Capital One Academic All-American of the Year and a member of the Academic All-America Team for Division I football as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America.
