Allison M. Kiersz and Justin T. Kessler were married at 2 p.m. on Aug. 22 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Swormville. Guests gathered for a reception at The Columns Banquets, Elma. The Rev. Robert M. Yetter, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Swormville, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Joseph T. and Mary G. Kiersz of East Amherst. The bridegroom’s parents are James A. and Carol Ann Kessler of Henrietta. The bride, a graduate of Williamsville East, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University at Buffalo and also earned a master’s degree in forensic accounting from Canisius College. The bride is a staff accountant at Freed Maxick, CPAs. The groom, a graduate of Rush-Henrietta High School in Rochester, earned a bachelor’s degree in business and global supply chain management from the University at Buffalo. He is currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering. After a trip to Sarasota, Fla., the couple will make their home in Penfield.
