Mr. and Mrs. Edward Qualey of Elma celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a family dinner. Mr. Qualey and the former Beverly Flood were married Aug. 7, 1965, in St. Andrew’s Catholic Church, Tonawanda. He is a retired sergeant/station commander at New York State Police, a former chair of the criminal justice studies division at Hilbert College, and currently associate professor of criminal justice. She is a retired elementary school teacher for the Diocese of Buffalo. They have two children and four grandchildren.
