Former Buffalo Sabres defenseman Tyler Myers has sold his mansion near Delaware Park to one of the newest members of the team.
Myers, who was traded in February to the Winnipeg Jets during his sixth season with the Sabres, sold the home at 186 Middlesex Road to new Sabres center Ryan J. O’Reilly for $1.34 million, according to the Erie County Clerk’s Office. The Sabres acquired O’Reilly in a trade with the Colorado Avalanche in June.
The transaction was recorded Tuesday.
Myers took a modest loss on the sale of the home, which he purchased for $1.42 million in September 2013.
The 5,600-square-foot house, built in 2010, has four bedrooms and 4½ bathrooms, along with an all-season pool and spa and a steam room. A YouTube video offering a peek inside the house calls it “the ultimate in modern living.”
