Adams Fire Company gets $144,760 federal grant

NORTH TONAWANDA – The Adams Volunteer Fire Company of North Tonawanda was awarded a $144,760 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Staffing for Adequate Fire and Emergency Response Program, Rep. Chris Collins, R-Clarence, announced Wednesday.

Fire Chief Don Lauer said the fire company headquartered on Nash Road will use the federal funds to acquire new volunteers to meet its goal of protecting public safety.”
