After a week that included fire dancing in Bidwell Park to singing in the staircase of a hostel, a masquerade ball seems only natural as the 2015 version of the Buffalo Infringement Festival enters its closing weekend.
Friday evening at Sugar City, the DIY space is encouraging Infringers to dress to the nines as musical entertainment is provided by the jangly Rochester shoegaze outfit Pleistocene. The fuzzy foursome recently released its latest EP "Space Trap," via Cherish Records last month and if the above photo is any indication, the quartet should be perfectly fine with this whole costume thing.
Also on hand will be indie-rock trio Wolf, the sincerely melodic Like a Panther and Baltimore's theatrical pop act Joseph and the Beasts.
Music kicks off at 7 p.m. Friday for a cover of $5 for party poopers, $3 for those in the dressing up spirit. Further event details can be found here.
