Lane closures are scheduled to occur Friday on Oak Street in downtown Buffalo, as a part of a project to conduct utility repairs, the state Department of Transportation announced Wednesday.
From about 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Friday, Oak Street, between Genesee and Clinton streets, will be reduced to one lane. The left lane will be open. After 3 p.m., all lanes will be open to traffic for the evening commute.
Additional lane closures will be necessary to complete the work, and will be scheduled following completion of the excavation work on Friday.
Details will be provided as they become available at www.511ny.org.
