WHEATFIELD – Rezonings of property owned by two businesses on Niagara Falls Boulevard are on tap for the Aug. 10 meeting of the Wheatfield Town Board.
Both businesses are seeking to make their lots entirely commercial. Under the terms of the current overlay zoning district along the boulevard, the portion of the lots nearest the road is commercial, and areas father back are zoned residential. The town is considering a general rezoning program along the boulevard to do away with such split zoning, but action may not come until next year. The two applicants for the Aug. 10 meeting want action sooner.
At 7 p.m., the board will consider a rezoning request from Bedore Tours, 2968 Niagara Falls Blvd., and at 7:15, a hearing will be held for Adventure Landing, a go-kart track at 3939 Niagara Falls Blvd.
