Veronica K. Couzo and Nicholas Kamenjarin were married at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, Notre Dame, Ind. Guests gathered for a reception at Morris Inn, South Bend, Ind. The Rev. John Conley, friend of the groom, heard the couple’s vows. The bride’s parents are Lidia M. Couzo of Buffalo and Pedro Couzo-Orta of Chicago. The bridegroom’s parents are Patti and Nicholas Kamenjarin of New Carlisle, Ind. The bride is a graduate of Buffalo Seminary. She earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University and also earned a juris doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School. The bride is an appellate law clerk at Sixth Circuit Court. The groom is a graduate of New Prairie High School. He earned a business degree from Northern Illinois University and also earned a juris doctor degree from the University of Notre Dame. He is a case representative at Morgan & Morgan. After a trip to Hawaii, the couple will make their home in Chicago.
