The Buffalo Veteran Boxers Association Ring 44 Hall of Fame dinner is set for 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11 at Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant, 3785 South Park Ave., Blasdell.
Jack Green, who just completed a 16-year run as Ring 44 President and continues to serve as a Buffalo boxing ambassador for the association, will be among the five inducted during the annual dinner ceremony, which moves from Salvatore’s Italian Gardens to Ilio’s.

Former WBA heavyweight champion John Ruiz will be the special guest.
