One person suffered a minor foot injury jumping from a second-floor window to escape a West Seneca house fire Tuesday morning, police said.
Overall, three people and two dogs safely fled 162 Allendale Road, where fire was reported at about 9:40 a.m.
Police and firefighters arrived to find the second floor of the home fully engulfed in flames. Two people had jumped from a second-floor window; one of them suffered a minor cut to his foot, police said.
A third occupant left through the front door, police said. Two dogs also made it out of the home.
Firefighters from the Reserve Hose, Seneca Hose, Vigilant, East Seneca, Newton Abbott and South Line fire companies responded to the alarm.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation by the police department’s detective bureau. A damage estimate wasn’t provided.
