AUTHOR TALK – A reading and book signing by Buffalo-based fiction writer Stephen Eoannou, author of the short story collection “Muscle Cars,” published by Santa Fe Writers Project Press, is slated for 7 p.m. Wednesday in Talking Leaves Books-Elmwood, 951 Elmwood Ave. Stories in the collection have appeared in a number of literary journals and magazines, including the Saturday Evening Post, Hayden’s Ferry Review, Rosebud and the MacGuffin. Eoannou’s work has been nominated for two Pushcart Awards and awarded an Honor Certificate from the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and he was honored with the Best Short Screenplay Award at the 36th Starz Denver Film Festival.
