For pro athletes today, it’s all about the money

Today’s professional athletes are way overpaid. They have gotten too greedy and are not dedicated to the game unless their pockets are full and even that is not a guarantee.

Today’s players attitude is “I won’t play till I get paid.” What happened to playing for the love of the game?

Here’s hoping O’Reilly learns lesson after crash

As many would say, nothing good usually happens after midnight. At 4:05 a.m., Ryan O’Reilly recently drove his vintage truck into a Tim Horton’s Shop in Lucan, Ontario, breaking a glass window near the front entrance, almost giving drive-thru a new meaning.

Hopefully he’s learned a hard lesson and will become the top-notch player that the Sabres have heavily invested in.
