The recently created Roundabout Rotary Club of Buffalo-Niagara will have its first service project this weekend.
The club will clean up the Harlem/Cleveland roundabout from 10 a.m. until noon on Sunday. It was established by repurposing the former Rotary Club of Cheektowaga’s original charter that dates back to 1948.
The Roundabout Club will host two functions each month – a service event in the second week and a social event in the fourth week.
“Over the coming months, as the club continues to grow, we hope to increase our monthly volunteer opportunities and develop new partnerships with the many community organizations in our area,” club president Katie Biggie.
