State police arrested a Buffalo man who was driving despite having 15 suspensions on his license.
Troopers stopped a car on Genesee Street about 9 a.m. Wednesday for speeding. The driver was not able to provide any identification and gave a fictitious name, troopers said.
Troopers investigated and were able to determine the man’s real identity.
William A. Lewis, 29, was taken to the state police station in Clarence where he was charged with criminal impersonation and having more than five outstanding bench warrants.
Lewis was then transferred to Buffalo Police Department Central Booking.
