The fourth annual City of Night celebration will be held from 6 p.m. to midnight Saturday in Buffalo’s Old First Ward.
Presented by Emerging Leaders in the Arts Buffalo, the event celebrates art, culture, history and sustainability. It will take place along Republic Street, between Louisiana and Hamburg streets.
There will be art installations, indoors and out, by local and regional artists. New this year is an Art Train; five, 40-foot shipping containers that will be decorated and house art installations along the Republic Street railroad tracks.
Saturday’s event is free and open to the public.
From 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, a VIP event will be held primarily inside The Barrel Factory and will feature live music, art installations, open bar with local craft beer and wine, catered food, special history tours and an opportunity to meet participating artists. Tickets are $75 each and available at ELABuffalo.com
