Friday, 7 p.m.: Silo City Reading Series featuring poets Catherine Wagner and Lillian-Yvonne Bertram, and music/installation art by the media/performance duo Flatsitter. Wagner’s collections of poems include “Nervous Device” (City Lights Books, 2012), “My New Job” (Fence Books, 2009), “Macular Hole” (Fence, 2004) and “Miss America” (Fence, 2001), as well as more than a dozen chapbooks. She is an associate professor of English at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Bertram, a Buffalo native, is a 2014 recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Creative Writing Poetry Fellowship. Her first book, “But a Storm is Blowing From Paradise,” was selected by Claudia Rankine as the 2010 Benjamin Saltman Award winner and published in 2012 by Red Hen Press. Her second book, “A Slice from the Cake Made of Air,” is forthcoming from Red Hen Press. A third book, “Personal Science,” is forthcoming from Tupelo Press.
