FRIENDSHIP - Reports of a partially naked man led to the arrest of a Pennsylvania resident on multiple charges, according to State Police.
Troopers said Timothy Myers, 54, of Irwin, Pa., was charged Saturday evening with misdemeanor counts of public lewdness, criminal possession of a weapon, trespass and aggravated driving while intoxicated, as well as traffic offenses.
A caller told the Allegany County Sheriff’s Office that a partially naked man was near a truck parked in the middle of Sleepy Hollow Road in Friendship, according to a report in the Wellsville Daily Reporter. Myers reportedly told police that he was changing his clothes.
While checking whether the pickup truck was operable, police discovered a handgun and beer, the newspaper reported.
Following arraignment in Friendship Town Court, Myers was sent to the county jail in lieu of $5,000 bail. He’s due back in court July 21.
