Two men and a woman charged in a Lewiston robbery

LEWISTON – State police have charged two men and a woman in an armed robbery from Monday on Printup Road in the Town of Lewiston.

Sarah A. Armijo, 26, of Youngstown, allegedly asked a male victim to get into her vehicle and go for a ride. Shortly after driving away, two other men, Jay L. Smith and Zachary S. Gravell, both, 26, of North Tonawanda, pulled up behind the vehicle and threatened the victim, who was sitting in the passenger seat, state police said.

Smith appeared have a gun under his shirt, and he took several items from the victim.

Armijo, Smith and Gravell were all charged with second-degree robbery and held on bail in Niagara County Jail after appearing in Town of Lewiston Court .

Smith, who is currently on parole was held on $25,000 bail. Gravell, who is currently on probation, and Armijo, were each held on $5,000 bail.
