LOCKPORT - A Middleport man and a Wheatfield woman pleaded guilty in separate drug cases Wednesday and were assigned by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon to the judicial diversion program of court-supervised drug treatment.
Richard L. Rogers, 42, of North Hartland Street, Middleport, and Krystal S. Prica, 51, of Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, admitted to third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. Rogers sold cocaine at his home Dec. 15, while Prica sold oxymorphone Jan. 10, 2014.
Rogers, a repeat felon, risks up to 12 years in prison if he fails in the program, while first-time felon Prica risks nine years. Both would have their charges reduced to misdemeanors with nonjail sentences if they succeed.
