Car crash is blamed on water balloons

NIAGARA FALLS – A Falls woman said she crashed into another car after the men in that car threw water balloons at her windshield Tuesday evening in the 1300 block of Ashland Avenue.

The woman told police that the water balloons struck her car’s windshield causing her to swerve to the right and strike the car of Terrance L. Davis Jr., who was identified as one of three persons throwing the water balloons. Davis admitted to police that they had come from a water balloon fight at another location and police found water balloons in his car.

All three occupants in the car including Davis, 21, of Townsend Place, Byron C. Williams, 18, of Ninth Street and a 16-year-old passenger of Fifth Street, were charged with reckless endangerment.
