PENDLETON – A male driver and his female passenger were injured in a rollover crash early Tuesday afternoon in the Town of Pendleton, according to State Police.
Troopers said three vehicles were involved in the crash, which led to the rollover of a black SUV shortly after 12:35 p.m. on South Transit and Dunnigan roads. No one in the other vehicles was hurt.
Police said a red pickup was traveling north on South Transit Road when it went from the left lane into the right, striking the SUV, which was also heading north on South Transit Road.
After the impact, both drivers lost control and drove to the left. The impact forced the black SUV into the rear of a gray sedan, which was stopped to make a left turn at the intersection of Dunnigan Road.
The SUV ended up on its roof. The drive and his passenger were taken to Erie County Medical Center with minor head injuries.
Names are being withheld pending further investigation. No charges have been filed.
