Members of the National Fuel Gas Company board of directors elected Joseph N. Jaggers a director. Jaggers is president, chief executive officer and chairman of Jagged Peak Energy, a private company based in Denver that is focused on the development of its acreage position in the Delaware sub-basin of the Permian Basin.


Evans Bank named Paul S. Ulrich senior vice president and chief credit officer. Ulrich has more than 25 years of banking and financial services experience. Most recently, he served as executive credit specialist with Charter Strategies, LLC in Montvale, N.J. Ulrich earned a MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and a bachelor’s from Hofstra University.


Lippes Mathias Wexler Friedman managing partner Scott E. Friedman served as a co-moderator at the third annual New England Family Business Conference, which was held at Babson College on June 18. In addition, Friedman is the author of seven books, including “Family Business and Positive Psychology: New Planning Strategies for the 21st Century.” He is founder of Next Gen Advisors LLC, a consulting firm that works closely with family business owners.


Danielle Dudkowski, customer care specialist at Insty-Prints of Cheektowaga, won the statewide competition for the “Career Recognition Award” at the NYS Women Inc. annual conference held at the Millennium Hotel Buffalo recently. The mentoring program recognizes the accomplishments of a woman able to document in their personal life a challenge they have overcome.

The Greater Woodlawn Federal Credit Union and Moog Employees Federal Credit Union were listed on Deposit Accounts “Top 200 Healthiest Credit Unions in America.” Greater Woodlawn was No. 91, and Moog Employees was No. 132. They made the list for the second straight year, placing them among only 66 out of 6,655 federally insured credit unions to do so.


Employees at Independent Health raised $14,948 for GO Bike Buffalo through a monthlong dress down program in May. More than 560 employees participated. The donation will directly support GO Bike Buffalo’s after-school bicycle education program for kids, its evaluation of the impact of recent complete street initiatives, and its continued support of the bike master plan with the City of Buffalo.
