One of the city's newest summer traditions, Live at Larkin, continues its weekly run Wednesday evening with arguably its strongest bill of the summer, welcoming the Tins and Applennium to the business district hub.
The new wave-y garage pop trio the Tins is fresh off the completion of a very successful Kickstarter campaign, one that aimed to fund the group's forthcoming LP, currently being recorded with Robby Takac of the Goo Goo Dolls, in addition to an in-the-works documentary. The film will capture the Tins' studio work with Takac, performing at SXSW this past spring and the trials of being a working band in Buffalo.

Opening for the Tins will be one of Buffalo's finest in Applennium. The melancholy quartet, which features members of Bearhunter and Fourem, rarely plays live, so make sure to sneak out of work a bit early to be at Larkin to catch its entire set.
Music is set to begin at 5:15 p.m., the concert is free. Further event details can be found here.
