Newly-elected Ken-Ton School Board member Andrew S. Gianni will be sworn in and take his seat during an organizational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the community room of the Philip Sheridan Building, 3200 Elmwood Ave.
Gianni, the teachers’ union endorsed candidate, handily defeated incumbent board Vice President Stephen G. Brooks in May. The board will also select its president and vice president.
• The Town Board meets at 7:30 p.m. Monday in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 2919 Delaware Ave. A work session begins at 4 in the second-floor conference room.
• A work session of the Kenmore Village Board begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the mayor’s office at the Municipal Building, 2919 Delaware Ave. A regular meeting follows at 8 in Council Chambers.
• The second annual “Gigantic Kenmore Garage Sale” will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday throughout the village. Organizers from the Kenmore Village Improvement Society will set up a video booth on the Village Green for bargain-seekers to show off their favorite purchases.
