The Rural Outreach Center Health Care Service program has moved to a new location in East Aurora.
Health services will be offered in a new trailer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 730 Olean Road on the first and third Wednesday of every month at the site, after the nonprofit center received support from the TLC Health Network and State Sen. Patrick Gallivan, R-Elma.
The ROC program provides free basic medical care for adults who do not have health insurance. It is managed by a group of faith-based volunteers from several local churches.
Licensed volunteer nurse practitioners, an on-call physician, RNs, a medical assistant, trained volunteers and students from various health professions make up the staff.
Appointments are encouraged by calling 220-4834. Otherwise, patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis. Referrals will be made as needed. There are no narcotic drugs on the premises, nor will they be ordered. For more information, visit theroc.co, call 240-2220 or email email@example.com.
