Teeth found on pier traced to North Tonawanda dental patient

NORTH TONAWANDA – Four molars found last week in Gratwick Waterfront Park in North Tonawanda belong to a North Tonawanda man whose wisdom teeth had been extracted, North Tonawanda police said Tuesday.

Niagara Falls Police said the teeth are not connected to the Terri Bills case in Niagara Falls. Bills’ dismembered torso was found earlier this month in a vacant house. Police are still trying to find who killed Bills, who is a woman.

A dive team spent 2½ hours searching the waters around a concrete pier where the four molars were found. North Tonawanda Police did not say how the molars ended up there – only that the man inadvertently abandoned the teeth after dental surgery.
