Fans of the ABC reality dance competition, “Dancing With the Stars,” will have more than fireworks to look forward to on the Fourth of July. Siblings Derek and Julianne Hough are bringing their “Move Live on Tour” show to the Seneca Niagara Casino Events Center for performances at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
The current 33-show summer tour follows on the heels of a successful 2014 “Move” tour and if the buzz coming out of the cities the duo has visited thus far is any indication, fans can expect plenty of new choreography, supported by a troupe of talented dancers in a high-energy performance.
Julianne Hough is a two-time winner of “DWTS,” having appeared on the show five times in all. Brother Derek is an Emmy-award-winning choreographer and dancer who has taken home the top prize on “DWTS” a record five times.
Appearing on “Good Morning America” to announce the 2015 tour, Julianne Hough said of this year’s show: “Last year we said it was a rock concert for dance, and this year it’s going to just be a bigger rock concert for dance.”
Tickets are $60-$95 (box office, Ticketmaster).
