Lewiston man killed in crash near power authority station

A 55-year-old Lewiston man died after his vehicle collided with two others near the New York State Power Authority in Lewiston, according to State Police.

Thomas Boyd IV was driving north on Lewiston Road at about 6 p.m. Monday when he crossed into oncoming traffic, troopers said. He collided with a southbound vehicle driven by Barbara R. Nichols, 51, of Niagara Falls, and then another driven by Russell G. Quarantello, 55, of Lewiston.

Boyd was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Further information wasn’t available from State Police.

Several other people reportedly were injured in the collisions.
