The City Honors/Fosdick-Masten Park Foundation is pursuing a goal of returning Frederick Law Olmsted-designed Fosdick Field to the City Honors School campus as an athletic field, and to the community as a public park. The land, currently owned by the Buffalo Municipal Housing Authority, has been appraised at $2.1 million, and an estimated $2.9 million would be necessary to create the all-weather athletic field complex for a $5 million total.
