Police charged a Buffalo man with third-degree assault, second-degree harassment and criminal obstruction of breathing after a domestic dispute in his home at 3:45 a.m. Saturday.
Police said Dennis Pollutro, 30, of Koester Street, is accused of slamming a woman against a wall, then grabbing her around the neck and trying to choke her. She told police she was then thrown to the ground.
The woman complained of pain and bruising and swelling to her neck and ribs. She said her right elbow was also bleeding.
