Two charged after deputies break up underage drinking party in Clymer

CLYMER – Two people were arrested in connection with an underage drinking party in the Town of Clymer attended by hundreds of people, Chautauqua County sheriff’s deputies reported.

Deputies went to 8390 Raspas Hill Road shortly after midnight Sunday to investigate a report of a large party. They found several hundred people; many of them were younger than 21 and were consuming alcohol.

Marion I. Miller, 20, of Millersburg, Ohio, was arrested as he tried to run from the area, deputies said. He was charged with misdemeanor counts of obstructing governmental administration and resisting arrest, as well as unlawful possession of alcohol under 21 years of age. Following arraignment in Sherman Town Court, Miller was sent to the county jail in lieu of $1,200 bail.

Roxanna L. Earle, 40, of Clymer, was charged with misdemeanor counts of unlawfully dealing with a child and criminal nuisance. She was arraigned in Clymer Town Court and released on appearance tickets.
