Sugar City’s massively popular Soul Night returns Friday to its home base of Milkie’s on Elmwood (522 Elmwood Ave.).
The reoccurring retro dance party will welcome back regular DJs the Good Reverend Johnny Drama and Handsome Dan, in addition to Alexander L. and the soon-to-be western-bound KATASTROPHE, to play choice cuts of soul, doo-wop Motown, funk and more. With the temperatures continuing to rise, expect the dance floor to be a sweaty good time with the wax spinning all night long.
The $5 cover at the door not only pays for your opportunity to dance until the early morning hours, but also helps out Sugar City as the collective continues to finish up construction on its new Niagara Street home.
Music begins at 10pm this evening. Further event details can be found here.
