Niagara Falls man sentenced in Tuscarora reservation incident

LOCKPORT – A former resident of the Tuscarora Indian Reservation was sentenced Thursday to six years in prison and five years’ post-release supervision for invading a home on the reservation last summer, tying up a 16-year-old girl and hitting her in the head with a shotgun.

Keith H. Printup Jr., 27, now of 75th Street, Niagara Falls, had pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree burglary for the crime, which occurred on Aug. 16 on Mount Hope Road.

The sentence was imposed by Niagara County Judge Sara Sheldon.

Printup has been to state prison twice before. from 2007 to 2009 for attempted burglary and attempted assault, and from 2011 to 2012 for drug possession.
