Marianas Trench heads to Artpark

When your band’s lead singer is the same guy who helped deliver the infectious Carly Rae Jepsen smash “Call Me Maybe,” hopes have to be high that he has the chops to help lightning strike twice.

And though such runaway international success hasn’t yet happened for Josh Ramsay and his Vancouver-based bandmates in Marianas Trench, that doesn’t mean they’re not on their way. Luckily for those across Western New York, this route to the top stops at Artpark, as the rising pop quartet will bring its “Legend Continues Tour” through Lewiston on July 1 as part of the summer’s Coors Light Wednesdays lineup. Armed with pristinely produced and sing-alongable new offerings like “Here’s To The Zeroes” for its growing “American Trenchers” fan base, the Juno-winning crew will take a stab at putting its hook-laden stamp on the season’s concert series.

Tickets are $12 in advance, $17 the week of the show and $24 for VIP (box office, artpark.net, tickets.com).
