LOCKPORT – A 19-year-old Lockport man was arrested by State Police Tuesday night after he called attention to his vehicle by stopping too far into the intersection of South Transit Road and Robinson Road here.
Cory M. Huber was pulled over on South Transit and a computer check revealed the plates on the vehicle he was driving had recently been reported stolen in Buffalo. It was also confirmed that Huber only had a learner’s permit and the registration on the car he was driving had recently been cancelled for lack of insurance.
Huber was charged with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property for the license plates, operating an unregistered vehicle, having no driver’s license, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, obstructing traffic for the intersection incident and failure to notify the state Department of Motor Vehicles about recent change of address. He faces Lockport Town Court proceedings July 9.
