Live coverage of Don Ogilvie's last Buffalo School Board meeting

Tonight's June 24 meeting should be quite busy, with Interim Superintendent Donald Ogilvie presiding over his last official School Board meeting. Darren J. Brown, the district's associate superintendent of human resources, may be named as the district's next interim superintendent. He would step into the job on July 1 of next week if the board has not appointed a permanent superintendent by then.

The district is also expected to present its redesign of Buffalo Public Schools, which would lay out the many new schools and academic program changes that are expected over the next two years. Here's the link to the board agenda packet.

We will be covering this meeting live. I will be using my Twitter handle @TiffanyLankes to live tweet this meeting. You do not need to have a Twitter account to follow my live tweets. Those tweets will all be collected and published below so anyone can follow along. As you can see below, all tweets by myself and my fellow education reporter colleagues automatically show up in this space.

Anyone who does follow me on Twitter can reply to my tweets as the meeting runs, and I'll do my best to retweet/republish the ones worth sharing. The Buffalo News is in the process of creating a better platform for live meeting coverage so please be patient during this transition. All live tweets from the meeting will be saved and stored in this same space after the meeting ends.
