School girl victimized by assault by bleach

Central District police are investigating an unusual assault case, after someone put bleach in a girl’s water bottle, apparently at a Buffalo school last Friday.

The victim’s mother told police that someone put the bleach in the bottle at about 11:15 a.m. Friday. There was no indication from the police report that the girl was injured or harmed in the incident.

That report lists the address of the crime as 21 Lowell Place, the address of the Frank A. Sedita Academy, west of Richmond Avenue, just south of West Utica Street.

The water bottle was saved, tested by school maintenance workers and turned over to police.
