GO FISH – Catch perch, bass, muskellunge, pike, walleye and trout at the foot of Ontario Street at Black Rock Canal Park during the seventh annual “Family Fishing Days” from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. It’s free and kids get hooked on fishing every year. “It’s amazing to see their eyes light up when they feel the tug on their line,” said George Johnson, president of Buffalo United Front. No fishing licenses required.

SPIRIT ENERGY AS ART – Acrylics by Tami Holbury-Ferraro will be up at the Schofield Residence from Saturday to Aug. 8 at 3333 Elmwood Ave., Town of Tonawanda. The artist is one of the monthly exhibitors from the Kenmore Art Society. The artwork will be on view from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekends.
