BATAVIA – Dozens of local residents were among 63 people ticketed for possessing fake identification, marijuana or more than one driver’s license at Thursday’s Fall Out Boy concert at Darien Lake Performing Arts Center, Genesee County sheriff’s deputies reported.
None of the four people arrested on misdemeanor drug possession charges was from Western New York, according to police reports.
But Western New York residents accounted for at least half of the 41 people cited for possessing fake ID and the 17 charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. There were two locals out of the five charged with possessing more than one license.
Several states, including Rhode Island, Delaware and Idaho, were represented on the fake drivers’ licenses or identification used by the concert goers.
