A war that tore apart families takes over Marilla Town Park Friday through Sunday when the town hosts its 10th annual Civil War Days.
Battle reenactments, period dances, candlelight tours and several interactive activities provide spectators an opportunity to see the everyday life of a Civil War soldier.
Among the activities throughout the weekend include a medical field hospital demonstration, infantry weapos inspection, ladies period tea and a night skirmish.
Food and beverages are available and sutlers - civilian merchants who sold provisions from the back of a wagon or tent to soldiers in the field - also will be on hand.
The weekend is sponsored by the town of Marilla, the Marilla Historical Society and the Eastern Reenactors Association. The Town Park is located on Three Rod Road.
