Alzheimer’s association sets meetings for caregivers

The Alzheimer’s Association Western New York Chapter sponsors several caregiver support groups across the region, including Niagara County. The groups meet monthly, and are designed to provide emotional and social support for caregivers and help provide methods and skills to solve problems.

Groups meet at 7 p.m. on the second Tuesday of each month at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Burt; at 6 p.m. on the third Wednesday, at Mount St. Mary’s Hospital, Lewiston; at 1 p.m. on the first and third Thursday at the Mental Health Association in Lockport; and at 7 p.m. every fourth Wednesday at the DeGraff Adult Day Care Center, North Tonawanda.

Information about these and more than 30 other group meetings across the region is available by visiting the chapter’s website at alz.org/WNY or by calling 1 (800) 272-3900.
