LITTLE VALLEY – A 29-year-old Steamburg man has been charged with operating a meth lab on his property, Cattaraugus County sheriff’s deputies reported Thursday.
A search was conducted Wednesday afternoon at 10267 Railroad Ave., after an investigation by the Olean office of the Southern Tier Regional Drug Task Force. Police found an active lab there, as well as ingredients for making methamphetamine, deputies said.
Daniel D. Visker was charged with felony counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine.
Following arraignment in Coldspring Town Court, Visker was sent to the county jail in lieu of $100,000 bail. Additional charges are pending in the continuing investigation, deputies said.
