LOCKPORT – Three Niagara Falls men were arraigned in Niagara County Court Wednesday after being indicted in connection with a Dec. 9 break-in at a garage behind Niagara Buy and Sell, facing an alley off the 500 block of Third Street.
Not guilty pleas were entered by Jacob Harbaugh, 24, and Franklin D. Mease Jr., 31, of Niagara Avenue, and Michael S. Dubuc, 37, of Hyde Park Boulevard. All are charged with third-degree burglary, possession of burglary tools, fourth-degree criminal mischief and attempted petit larceny.
Assistant District Attorney Kevin D. Canali said the trio allegedly fled in a car without stealing anything after they were spotted by a resident who lives nearby. Canali said Harbaugh gave police his brother’s name when he was first arrested.
