NIAGARA FALLS – The Niagara Area chapter of Habitat for Humanity announced Tuesday that it is planning to renovate two houses this summer in Niagara Falls, and the organization issued a call for volunteers to help with the work.
Spokeswoman Sarah E. Moore said the group would not disclose the addresses of the houses until the purchases close. “Right now we are gathering volunteers and getting them through the initial phases so they may volunteer on-site when the time comes,” she said.
Building volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Habitat also needs volunteers in the areas of family selection, promotion, fund-raising and finance.
Those interested should contact Moore via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
