Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps to donate free transport for accident victim

The Lancaster Volunteer Ambulance Corps is providing a paramedic-level ambulance for the family of 5-year-old Stephanie Sugorovskiy to transport the 5-year-old to the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center for further medical treatment after she was hit by a car in Delaware Park last month.

Hospitalized at Women & Children’s Hospital, Stephanie suffered brain injuries in the May 30 accident, which claimed the life of her 3-year-old brother, Maksym.

The ambulance corps is working with Rural Metro to coordinate the free shuttle service for the girl and her family.
