Momentum Choir, a highly disciplined choir that celebrates the musical gifts of adults who live with a disability, will perform at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Wesleyan Church of Hamburg, 4999 McKinley Pkwy. Founded by music therapist Mendelt D. Hoekstra who serves as artistic director, the choir comprises 50 singers ages 18 to 80. Admission is free.

Families CAN (Child Advocacy Network) a division of Compeer of Greater Buffalo offers a roundtable discussion group for parents, caregivers or family members raising children with special social, emotional or behavioral needs so they can share experiences and learn about available resources. Mental Health Association of Erie County is offering a new peer-facilitated self-help group for people diagnosed with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder who is 18 years of age or older. National Parkinson Foundation of Western New York will hold its monthly support group meeting for people with Parkinson’s disease, family members and caregivers from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3512 Clinton St., West Seneca. A young onset Parkinson’s support group for individuals in their early 50s or younger will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Both groups meet every third Wednesday of the month. Refreshments provided.
