A little bit of water and mud isn't going to stop country music — not yet, anyhow.
Despite thunderstorms that swept through the city this afternoon, tonight's sold-out WYRK Toyota Taste of Country music festival at Coca-Cola Field is running on schedule, an official from the radio station told The Buffalo News.
Gates for the annual event open at 5 p.m., with the first group taking the stage at 6:15 p.m. Read Tim O'Shei's feature on The Breakfast Show at WYRK and a look into the local country fan-base.
The acts are, in order:
- A Thousand Horses
- Canaan Smith
- Craig Campbell
- Frankie Ballard
- Joe Nichols
- Dierks Bentley
Taste of Country fans have battled thunderstorms before. In 2012, headliner Eric Church's set was canceled for safety reasons.
