Two boys, ages 8 and 13, were taken to Women and Children’s Hospital after a vehicle overturned on Sheridan Drive in Clarence around 5:30 p.m. Friday, the Erie County Sheriff’s Department reported. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
When Deputy Dennis Orlowski responded to the scene he found the vehicle overturned along with damage to a fire hydrant and an uprooted tree.
The driver, Brian Maybee, 43, of Amherst, was charged with reckless endangerment, endangering the welfare of a child, reckless driving, speeding, no seat belts for the rear passengers and other vehicle and traffic violations.
He is scheduled to appear in Clarence Town Court on June 25.
